Tuition Policies

Tuition: Tuition is due weekly or monthly, whichever you prefer. Tuition must be paid on time. If you are late with your payment, a late fee notice will be sent home reflecting the amount owed. Your child will not be allowed to stay in school if tuition is more than two (2) weeks overdue without an explanation. A $10 fee is imposed if tuition is one week overdue.

Late Payment Fee:

Weekly payments are due on the Thursday or Friday of the preceding week.
Monthly payments are accepted but should be paid by the 5th of each month.
Late fee of $20 is added to all payments that are more than 1 week overdue.
Holiday Closings:

Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving & Friday, Christmas Week, January 1st, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Week (February), April Vacation week, Memorial Day and one Graduation Show Day for non-Graduates (date TBA). Weekly tuition remains the same except, for the three vacation weeks, when no tuition is charged.

Cancellations:

Snow Days – We are closed when Lowell Public Schools are closed. Boston TV stations carry closings. We do not have delayed openings ever! We are open as usual.

Late Pick-Up Fee:

Parents of children not picked up by their scheduled time (12:30, 4:00 or 5:00) will be charged a late fee. First they will be issued a warning and on the next occurrence will be charged accordingly ($1 per minute). Parents will be billed once a month for any late occurrences.

Sibling Discount: A 10% discount is offered on your second child’s tuition.

Tuition Policies: Please note that weekly tuition remains the same despite absence due to illness, holidays, and snow days. Tuition costs reflect these days off. Exceptions to this will be prolonged hospitalization, Christmas, and February and April vacation weeks. Tuition is due one week in advance, payable on Thursday or Friday for the following week.

Vacation Policy: We provide three vacation weeks per year. You will not be charged tuition for these weeks. If a parent elects to take a vacation other than the weeks provided by the school, the parent is still responsible for tuition payments.

Security Deposits: One week’s security deposit is due at the time of registration and is nonrefundable. This payment will be credited toward your last week in school.

Returned Checks: Please be advised that you will be charged $20 for a returned check. If this happens more than twice, the school will require a cashier’s check for subsequent payments. If a special financial problem occurs, you need to call the school so we can make sure some kind of payment arrangements can be made.
